Putting up a fence against the Wild Boar. We have a lot of them living around the river bed, which is now impenatrateable in many places except for access via Wild Boar tunnels in the Caña.. It's cloudy today, hence the unusual light. !

Up to the Palm Tree and down to the first fence is "our" garden. The next piece is Alice and Graham's part of the garden, next to that is Tim's Agave Nursery. Beans, peas, salads and garlics and onions now planted. !!

Good Morning Friends. !!

It is another beautiful morning in El Rio. The sun is just coming into the valley and is lighting up the hills. The recent rain has "greened" up the valley. You can see from the photos. David and Pepa are doing great work in the gardens and they will start planting today.

The world outside our little valley seems as crazy as ever - maybe even more so, with our "so called elected" world leaders behaving like greedy short sighted, psychotic idiots. Psychopaths with no social conscience. Very dangerous people. How did we get into this situation?.

Money continues to dominate the world and continues it's destruction of all we hold dear.

Princessa was abandoned and has clearly had a hard life. She is quite "scarred" and looks as though she was "branded" with a soldering iron.!

It's been a while since I have updated the "blog". I have been feeling a lack of inspiration. Bloggers Block.

Anyhow, apart from that "block", we have had an excellent time with a lot of movement and fiestas - another memorable night last Saturday for a farewell party for Almu, Emmi and Max - a 3 rolled into one event - continued with an after party with Kuba on guitar and a small Punk concert. We finally "chilled out" at around 4.00 pm on Sunday. That was one week ago.

We have some rain and the valley is rapidly "greening up". Irish Dave is doing great work in the gardens.Kuba is Parrot sitting for Dave Veevers and Ailie who are taking 28 dogs to Holland.

We are keeping busy. !!
