We have cleared the "line" so that storm water now flows into the mill drop and then into a tunnel which led to the power generating station, which in previous times supplied electricity to Sorbas. !

In the above movie clip I am interviewing Jose the 83 year old founder of this Agro Co-operative. I am "acting" as a prospective European Buyer of his production on the entrance of Spain into the European Market in 1990. We then discuss conditions today.
In this, the above clip, I have been talking with Pepe. Pepe is 70 and he is a fisherman. The talk is in reference to the new market opening in 1990 and conditions today. Pepe and local fishing has suffered. Jose and the agro industry has prospered. That is the reality today.

Weather watch due to heavy snow, alert level orange possible
We made this documentary last year. I explain the situation. We have clear and open discussions with local people affected by this Industrial Agriculture. This Industrial Agriculture takes forty million litres of water every day and is threatening the continued existence of this, the last Oasis in Western Europe.
We had a great team today with helpers from almost every household in the village. Here is a picture of the river and it has dropped a little in level and is still flowing well.
The team have opened about 100 meters of line at the far end and we are now at the top end. The line is nearly one kilometre long. !
